Shoutcast/Icecast is the server software used for creating Internet audio broadcasts. Many traditional FM radio stations use Shoutcast or Icecast to extend their presence onto the Web. While both have a web directory listing of all stations registered using the software, the Shoutcast directory is widely considered the leading directory.
